After the early sold-out and grandiose concerts at the Casino, Blacky P. Schwarz and Gero Fei are now once again presenting further classics of pop-rock history in the spotlight. Expressive vocals & virtuoso piano playing meet rousing & energetic percussion grooves.

If there is such a thing, it was a happy coincidence: Blacky P. Schwarz and Gero Fei met for the first time at a party in Mannheim. Blacky had planned a duo performance for this party, but his fellow musician dropped out unexpectedly. And so he was on his own.

But not for long, because Gero spontaneously offered to join him, the two of them took to the stage together and delivered an unforgettable performance full of spontaneous creativity. With their magical interplay and their own interpretations of special songs by Billy Joel, Supertramp, Marc Cohn, Randy Newman, Simple Minds, Gerry Raferty and Elton John, the two have been delighting audiences ever since.

Blacky P. Schwarz has now been sitting at the black and white keys for over 40 years. His extraordinary voice and his percussive piano playing form an exuberant unit. He has proven this in countless performances and tours with Paddy goes to Holyhead, the Hooters, Götz von Sydow, the Junior Spencer Group, Us & Band with Stephan Ullman, Brosis, the No Angels and Michael Koschorreck, among others.
Gero Fei is not only a passionate percussionist, but also an organizer and instrumental teacher: he has been running the Mannheim Trommelpalast for over 24 years. He has also been on the road as a live musician in various formations, including Mocábo, Brigada Especial, Grupo de Encontro and Palatinate.

The two have put together a varied and top-class program and only play the songs you've always wanted to hear.

And they cultivate the spirit of their first encounter: spontaneous & musical, rousing & intimate, contrived & improvised.
