But it would be unfair to reduce the British paragon-with his vast production, radio, and gigging history, along with numerous imprints-to the current revival when he has been pushing his own agenda, and creativity regardless of genretags for decades. Firmly committed to the funk in Techno, the inspired artist seizes the genres timeless grooving potential, gig after gig.
Framing the night with different approaches to groove are Norbakand Blitz resident Stenny. The former, a member of the Hayes Collective, spins a straightforward brand of rough yet clean-cut techno, enriched by subtle flushes of dissonance with mesmerizing, explorative effect. Meanwhile, our trusted regular Stenny draws inspiration from both the functional structures and narrative excursions of electronic music. Grounded in the manifold grooves of Bass & Break music, his sound is as immersive as it is propulsive.
