Unadulterated, kinetic Techno from Kareem El Morr, Inox Traxx, ZISKO and from DJ Rush, the Chicago Techno institution.

DJ Rush, the Chicago luminary, is an intriguing enigma. While he grew up surrounded by House music in its birthplace, he's renowned as one of the forefathers of hard-edged Techno. Despite resisting the prominent - European! - labeling of his sound, he is still largely labeled a Techno artist. But there's more to Isaiah Major. He calls his style > Hard Energy < and this genre-blurring approach, influenced by > soul, funk, disco, jazz, beat and drums, its all in there. < -all combined with the rigid, solid edge that makes him stand out - helps develop an unbiased perspective on his legacy.

ZISKO and Inox Traxx are two up-and-coming, hotly tipped Techno talents playing essential Concrete Funk with a fresh and alluring, but above all, highly grooving spin. The Argentinian DJ ZISKO has already completed a few laps on the European circuit with stops at many of Europe's renowned nightclubs, yet he still maintains a busy release schedule. Shining through in his productions and mixes is his pronounced penchant for rhythms, with a drummer's feel-that's how he started out in music in the first place. ZISKO is here for the dashing, highly physical sounds that reconnect with listeners' and dancers' primal instincts for dance and movement. Hard Wax's comment on one of Inox Traxx's productions has been quoted many times, but it's simply spot-on: > Flawless, highly effective, pure Techno. < Joining these two rising profiles is our resident Kareem El Morr, with a refined touch and feeling for impactful dramaturgy and strikingly balanced grooves.

Although he grew up in the midst of Chicago's house scene, he is considered one of the pioneers of harder techno. Although he has always resisted this - decidedly European! - categorization, this reputation still clings to him today.
