"Blue Velvet" - In Memoriam David Lynch

In honor of the film artist David Lynch, who died in January, we are showing an irritating initiation story:

In Lumberton - the typical small town of the American way of life - Jeffrey finds a severed ear in the grass and decides to unravel the mystery surrounding it. He meets the police officer's daughter Sandy, the mysterious nightclub singer Dorothy and the brutal Frank. Jeffrey penetrates deeper and deeper into a cruel and bizarre world that was previously completely unknown to him and from which he cannot escape.
With BLUE VELVET, David Lynch penetrates into the depths of human abysses and confronts the audience with drastic images, disturbing imaginations and mysterious film experiences. BLUE VELVET is fascinating and enigmatic, captivating with its magnificent actors, dramaturgical finesse, radiantly beautiful images and irresistible music - a hyper-realistic nightmare fairy tale between initiation and voyeurism, innocence and sadomasochism.
