BLUES BROTHERS - DAS MUSICAL

"We're on a mission from the Lord." This sentence by Dan Aykroyd, alias Elwood Blues, went down in movie history in 1980: The "Blues Brothers" Jake and Elwood want to get their old band back together to save their former orphanage from being sold. It was to be expected that almost everything that could go wrong would go wrong. Not least because of the numerous celebrity guests. In the film, these are James Brown, Ray Charles and, of course, Aretha Franklin - which stars will be joining them in the Kurpark is not yet revealed. The film has long since achieved cult status, and the Lüneburg Summer Night Theater is following suit.

The cult movie as a musical! Eight actors and actresses are on the road with a six-piece live band on behalf of the Lord and bring the legendary Blues Brothers to the stage in a fast-paced production. And of course the Dodge Monaco is not to be missed.

Open-air theater in the Kurpark

For tourists and Lüneburgers alike, the theater offers the "First Lüneburg Summer Night Theater" in cooperation with Campus Management GmbH.
