With the curtain open, open-heart surgery takes place, the theater hall exposes its theatrical soul. It has to be real, very close to the subject matter, not too safe, not too cool. Nothing comes from calculation. Haustein is looking for the hot-bloodedness that makes the blood boil. So: get out of the comfortable audience-ideo boxes. In this co-production with bodytalk and the Theater im Pumpenhaus, we can finally recognize ourselves endlessly. BLUTKÖRPER is dance theater, the most theatrical in the world.
