Music biography about the legendary Queen frontman Freddie Mercury - by Bryan Singer and Dexter Fletcher.

Freddie Mercury (Rami Malek), Brian May (Gwilym Lee), Roger Taylor (Ben Hardy) and John Deacon (Joseph Mazzello) found the rock band Queen together. From then on, they produced one hit after another and were celebrated worldwide, largely due to the charismatic charisma of lead singer Freddie Mercury.

But after chart successes such as "We Will Rock You", "We Are the Champions" and "Bohemian Rhapsody", the frontman increasingly turned away from his band colleagues and wanted to pursue his solo career. He is also torn inside and is looking for his place in a world that repeatedly throws up obstacles for homosexuals.

After many excesses and a few disappointments, he returns to the band and delivers the most legendary show of his career at the "Live Aid" concert.
