Böll walk from the Südtstadt to the Agnesviertel

We start at the house where Heinrich Böll was born in Südstadt. Following in the footsteps of his childhood and youth, we walk through the Severinsviertel to St. Maria im Kapitol. What was Böll's relationship to Cologne and the Catholic Church like? We talk about this at St. Cäcilien and St. Peter. The Heinrich Böll Archive is right next door. We continue through the city center to the WDR. At the deserter's memorial, we immerse ourselves in the literary work of the Nobel Prize winner. Via the Eigelstein we reach the Agnesviertel. Böll's last place of residence in Cologne was in Hülchrather Straße - a nice end to our Böll hike.
