Exhibition: "Pictures of people - A slightly different view". Paintings and graphics by pupils of the Bosse School

Pictures of people in the countryside, in the city or in close-up. Images of people in art - diverse and changeable. The BosseKunst 2025 of year 10 and the elective art course of year 9 cordially invite you to the art exhibition from 25.06. to 27.08.2025 in the large hall of the Bürgerwache on Siegfriedplatz. Immerse yourself in the world of ideas of the young artists of the Bosse School! They have created impressive paintings and drawings that not only impress with their technical skills in acrylic on canvas or pencil on paper, but also with their critical, personal view of people today. The works are based on paintings by known and unknown artists of different artistic styles, from Impressionism, Expressionism and Surrealism to Cubism, Pop Art, Naive Painting, contemporary art and portrait photography.

With a bold, creative change in each painted picture, it does not remain a mere imitation, but poses the question: Who is man in our time? Whether consumption, loneliness, multimedia influence or growing violence - each picture tells a new, often surprising story to be discovered. What remains of the original? What is added? And what does this say about our world today? This exhibition is more than just a display of the technical skills of the secondary school students at the Bosse School. It is a mirror of our present from a young perspective. Let yourself be challenged, moved and inspired - by images of people that you are guaranteed not to have seen before.
