Boulanger Trio: Musik, Wein & Gespräche

In the organizer's words:

The musicians of the Boulanger Trio love to arouse curiosity for advanced sounds. They see their own concert series as a tribute to Nadia Boulanger (1887-1979) and her legendary Parisian salons, where the musical and literary elite of her time gathered. In the convivial format of their boulangerie, they span an arc from the traditional chamber music repertoire to the music of today.

The evening will be enriched by an encounter with the guest composer, who will be on stage to answer the musicians' questions in a relaxed conversation - this time the guest is the young composer Marc Migó from Barcelona. In his work GEM(S)TONE, he has created a musical narrative based on his personal perceptions of three precious stones: onyx, the dark and mystical protector, ruby, the romantic and noble symbol, and diamond, the radiant light. The three movements form a journey from meditative stillness to dazzling fireworks.

At the end, the musicians invite you to discuss the experience over cheese and wine.
