Božo Vrećo started his singing career in 2013 as the frontman of the band "Halka", with whom he quickly had a steep breakthrough and toured throughout Europe, including Munich, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Oslo, Brussels, Belgrade, Vienna, Zurich, etc. They brought Sevdalinka, the traditional Bosnian song, back onto the world stage and Božo put his unmistakable stamp on it, which has both male and female components. ARTE broadcast a concert by the band in its program. At the same time, he went solo, first with a capella interpretations and then with his own compositions. In the meantime, he could not be assigned to any particular genre, as he skillfully, mystically and yet playfully interweaves Sevdah with other musical styles. He has been riding an unbroken wave of success for years, his fan base extends far beyond Europe, sold-out concerts in Canada, the USA and Australia are testimony to this.
