Božo Vrećo - Symphonic World

Božo Vrećo breathes Sevdah, experiences, lives through and lives Sevdah, creates and gives birth to Sevdah. A revolutionary artist with the voice of a lyrical tenor, with his unmistakable expression of duality, freedom, courage and love.

The Spanish "El Periodico" and the "New York Times" describe Božo Vrećo as an avant-garde artist with a world music voice and as a synonym for freedom in the Balkans: "A voice that caresses souls and opens the eyes of wounded hearts." Vrećo's concerts are a catharsis of emotions and a personification of angelic singing love. The seventh studio album Sevdahology was released in 2025. Maldita, a first documentary film, was made in Spain under the direction of Kanaki Films and won the prestigious Goya Award for Best Documentary Short Film. Božo Vrećo is currently working on another film, a book and is touring the USA, Canada, Australia and Europe.
