Mehldau in big band guise

As "one of the most influential pianists of recent decades" (ARTE), the US American Brad Mehldau inspires fans far beyond the jazz cosmos. This is not only due to Mehldau's extraordinary improvisation skills, but also to his compositions, in which his deep love for the architecture of music is just as evident as his enthusiasm for good pop music. As part of Mehldau's "Reflektor" festival, some of his compositions can now be heard in new big band arrangements, played by Mehldau together with the hr-Bigband under Darcy James Argue.
