Open Farm Day ALL OVER BRANDENBURG.

It's that time again on the weekend of June 14 and 15: for the 30th time, the Brandenburger Landpartie invites you to discover rural life in all its facets. Under the motto "Agriculture you can touch", farms, stables, barns, market gardens and horse farms throughout Brandenburg will be opening their doors to visitors of all ages.

Whether traditional family farms or modern agricultural businesses - experience first-hand how regional food is produced, meet animals up close, marvel at old and new agricultural technology or take part in a guided tour of the stables or fields. Many hosts invite you to join them on carriage rides, bike tours or hands-on activities. Children can stroke, play and marvel - adults can taste, ask and discover.

The Landpartie also has plenty of culinary del ights to offer: Fresh country bread from the wood-fired oven, home-made sausage and cheese products, cakes made according to old recipes or seasonal specialties straight from the field - you can taste Brandenburg here.

Numerous farms and villages celebrate lively festivals with music, crafts and rural hospitality. There is a lot to see, taste and experience - for families, connoisseurs, nature lovers or anyone who just wants to get out and about.

Central opening event at Gut Schmerwitz:
The festive kick-off to the Landpartie takes place this year at the idyllic Gut Schmerwitz estate in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district. With a colorful supporting program, regional gastronomy and many hands-on activities for young and old, the Landpartie weekend kicks off here. It is well worth a visit - as are the numerous other open farms in all regions of Brandenburg.
