Brant Bjork has spent over a quarter of a century at the epicenter of California desert rock. He was a founding member and composer of the influential desert band Kyuss and fueled the seminal Fu Manchu from 1994 to 2001. Over the past 30 years, he's embarked on his solo career as a singer, guitarist, composer and bandleader and founded his own record labels
(DUNA, LOW DESERT PUNK) and more, his story is a winding tale of relentless, unwavering creativity. 2025 the band is the lean and mean Brant Bjork Trio, featuring Mike Amster on drums and an old friend and longtime collaborator, desert rock pioneer Mario Lalli (Fatso Jetson, Yawning Man, Desert Sessions) on bass guitar. The Brant Bjork Trio's debut album "Once upon a time in the desert" will also be the first title to be released on the newly founded Bjork's own record label DUNA RECORDS and the band has tours in Europe, Australia, Japan and the USA for the year 2025.
