Brant Bjork Trio - Slow your Roll Tour 2025

Brant Bjork has been in the premier league of Californian desert rock for a good quarter of a century. He made a name for himself as a founding member and songwriter of the probably most important genre cult band Kyuss, as well as rhythm player for Fu Manchu from 1994 to 2001. Over the last 30 years, however, he has also launched and constantly developed his solo career as a singer, guitarist, composer and bandleader, founded his own record labels (Duna, Low Desert Punk) and embarked on many a different style of playing - his story is a kind of convoluted narrative of relentless, unwavering creativity, always accompanied by his inherent captivating groove.

Currently, he has returned to his roots and can be experienced together with his long-time companions and desert rock pioneer Mario Lalli (Fatso Jetson, Yawning Man, Desert Sessions) on bass and Mike Amster (Mondo Generator / Nebula) on drums in a crisp and extremely playful trio line-up. Their first album, entitled "Once upon a time in the desert", will also be the first output on Brant Bjork's own new Duna Records label, which will also be played live on several extensive tours in Europe, Australia, Japan and the USA. After the first successful UK dates, the European festival summer will now follow, including some selected club shows.
