BRASS RIOT

In the organizer's words:

BRASS RIOT are Constantin von Estorff (saxophone), Simon Sasse (drums) and Carl Weiß (saxophone), friends who started out as a school band in Lüneburg and became a sought-after formation with their driving, energetic sound and their proximity to the Fridays For Future movement at demonstrations. But their music didn't just stay on the streets, it also got people in clubs and at festivals raving - letting off steam - letting off steam, in keeping with the literal meaning of "brass". Their second studio album The Never Acting Story critically alludes to the book by Michael Ende and expresses that the music of BRASS RIOT is a way of giving expression to political frustration and fears. Their wild live shows certainly provide a sense of liberation and recharge the batteries. Musically, they are always somewhere between house music and electro beats, melodic ska pop and contemporary rave brass.
