Brasserie Beats hat concerts every 2nd (and 4th Monday in the summer months May to September open air) of the month (excluding public holidays).

The MC EBEL ONE MAN BLUESBAD

is a special kind of one man band. McEbel plays his drums sitting down, not on his back. He also sings and plays guitar and harmonica. His program covers the whole range of the blues genre, from the country blues of Robert Johnson to Texas blues ala Stevie Ray Vaughan to the Chicago blues of Muddy Waters, spiced up with little excursions into the soul of Ray Charles. The songs don't sound like copies of the originals, that would be presumptuous, but like McEbel - sometimes raw, always with emotion. His sound sounds like a full band, and McEbel also knows how to entertain the audience with little stories. He has his current 2019 CD 'May I introduce myself' in his luggage, which contains 6 interpretations of titles by other authors as well as 3 original compositions.

All concerts are hat concerts, which means that YOU as a guest decide what amount you consider appropriate to put in the hat. There is no rule for this, you alone decide. As a little tip, musicians create their works, rehearse and come to us at the venue! Musicians love "spotlights" but any amount is welcome - just like you!
