Brasserie Beats hat concerts every 2nd (and 4th Monday in the summer months May to September open air) of the month (excluding public holidays).

He lives for and from music. In 2022, at the age of 29, Mense decided to only do what he was really passionate about. He quit his job, rented out the house they shared and traveled to Spain with his wife and his Dalmatian Angus for six months to live solely from street music. Packed with new impressions and new songs, he played over 80 concerts throughout Germany last year alone.

The dream of being able to live from music has come true. He wants his music to be heard, which is why he travels all over Germany in his camper van and plays his songs wherever he can get a stage - either as a solo musician or with a band. His repertoire comprises several hundred songs, including tracks from his first album "Joy in Solitude" as well as classics by his great idols such as the Beatles, Chuck Berry, Tom Petty and CCR.

He is constantly writing new songs, recording them in his own analog studio in his home port of Oederquart and releasing them via his own label Flatrock Records.
At his live shows, he places great emphasis on entertainment: "The people who listen to me should have a good time. Everything else is secondary for now."

All concerts are hat concerts, which means that YOU as a guest decide what amount you consider appropriate to put in the hat. There is no rule for this, you alone decide. As a little tip, musicians create their works, rehearse and come to us at the venue! Musicians love "spotlights" but any amount is welcome - just like you!
