How much participation should and may a free society allow? What spaces for discourse do we want to open up in our democracy? One thing is certain: We need to talk. But how and with whom? Rolf Mützenich has been a member of the Bundestag for the SPD for over 22 years. He spoke out vehemently against cooperation with the AfD and warned of an open "gateway to hell" if the firewall does not remain in place. Frauke Rostalski is a lawyer and author and comments on current social debates with a keen eye. Her most recent publication is: "Die vulnerable Gesellschaft. The new vulnerability as a challenge to freedom". She believes that the democratic community is under threat if the AfD and its voters are excluded from social debates.
