BREAKDNZ invites KATERINHA & YUNG_WOMB to the last dance of april.

"BREAKDNZ invites ..." is an event series that brings together different subcultures and their musical styles. the event brings together djs from different musical scenes to celebrate the diversity of electronic and urban music and to build bridges between different communities. this event series is for music lovers interested in the intersection of subculture and electronic music, as well as a broad audience that wants to discover new sounds and cultural influences.

KATERINHA:
KATERINHA is a macedonian dj and creative from berlin. her sound combines global club music, afro-house, garage, breaks and house.
she is a resident at refuge worldwide and a guest on stations such as kiosk radio, worldwidefm and dublab barcelona. as the founder of the berlin dj collective rafiki, she is a permanent fixture on international line-ups, including in tokyo, berlin and frankfurt.
in addition to her work as a booker, producer and curator, she is also a musician and performs with her project temkina, which combines r'n'b, jazz and pop.
her dj sets are energetic club workouts with driving percussion, bass and southern rhythms.

YUNG_WOMB:
YUNG_WOMB is a dj, selector and radio host from hamburg, known for her cross-genre style. as co-founder of the dj collective slic unit, resident at queerpol and the golden pudel club, she shapes the underground club scene.
influenced by her parents' cds for dance classes, she developed early performances to folk sounds, 90s/00s hip-hop, neo-soul and merengue hip-rap - influences that are still evident in her sets today.
her vinyl collection includes 70s/80s jazz, funk, salsa and caribbean music. in the club she combines baile funk, afro-latin bass, house and u.s. club music - with infectious energy that is contagious.
