BreakHaus goes international.

To mark our Berlin debut, we’re reviving the Face2Face format and bringing two heavyweight collectives into the ring for a night of bass-fuelled frenzy. 

Face2Face (F2F) lies at the core of BreakHaus.

Conjuring a musical face off where DJs go head to head, track for track, F2F is a challenge of who can stoke the dance-floor and keep the night alive. Not to be mistaken for the beloved Back to Back format, F2F features two DJ setups facing each other, making way for a gripping showdown of tune-based skills.

In one corner: Femme Bass Mafia

Femme Bass Mafia is a project driven by a passionate music crew, united by adelphity - a bond that embraces all genders. Their core mission is to champion women, trans, and non-binary artists and to actively foster gender equality within the music industry.

Internationally recognised for their rhythmic impact, this crew is no stranger to masterfully getting dancefloors moving. They specialize in the up-tempo and diverse world of bass music, consistently delivering high-energy experiences. A force to be reckoned with, and a very exciting contender for the Face2Face setup.

In the other corner: ọ́kụ́

Formerly known as BPM, this London-rooted, Berlin-based collective has always delivered high-voltage energy, but under their new name, they’ve taken things up a notch. With roots in the Global South and a deep love for hard hitting club sounds, ọ́kụ́ is coming to BreakHaus with one goal: to set the place alight.

The crew is deeply focused on community and empowerment, fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment. They're all about high-energy experiences, undeniably great music, and meticulously curated lineups of DJs who can light up dancefloors with an inescapable flair. ọ́kụ́ are more than a worthy contender for Femme Bass Mafia.

Zur Feier unseres Berlin-Debüts lassen wir das Face2Face Format wieder aufleben und bringen zwei Schwergewichte der Kollektiv Szene für eine bass geladene Nacht in den Ring.

Face2Face (F2F) ist das Herzstück von BreakHaus.

F2F ist ein musikalischer battle, bei dem die DJs Track für Track gegeneinander antreten - eine Herausforderung, bei der es darum geht, wer die Tanzfläche anheizen und die Nacht am Leben erhalten kann. Nicht zu verwechseln mit dem beliebten Back-to-Back-Format, stehen sich bei F2F zwei DJ-Setups gegenüber und machen den Weg frei für ein fesselndes Duell der Töne. 

In der einen Ecke: Femme Bass Mafia
Femme Bass Mafia ist ein Projekt eines leidenschaftlichen Musik-Kollektivs, vereint durch Adelphität – ein Band, das alle Geschlechter umfasst. Ihre zentrale Mission: Frauen, trans und nicht-binäre Künstler*innen zu fördern und aktiv Geschlechtergerechtigkeit in der Musikindustrie voranzutreiben. International bekannt für ihre rhythmische Power, versteht sich dieses Kollektiv meisterhaft darauf, Dancefloors zum Beben zu bringen. Sie sind spezialisiert auf temporeiche und vielfältige Bassmusik und liefern konsequent energiegeladene Erlebnisse. Eine Kraft, mit der man rechnen muss – und eine äußerst spannende Kandidatin für das Face2Face Format.

In der anderen Ecke: ọ́kụ́
Früher bekannt als BPM, hat dieses in London verwurzelte und heute in Berlin beheimatete Kollektiv schon immer mit Hochspannung überzeugt – unter neuem Namen legen sie jetzt noch einen drauf.
Mit Wurzeln im Globalen Süden und einer tiefen Liebe für Club-Sounds, kommt ọ́kụ́ zu BreakHaus mit nur einem Ziel: den Laden in Brand zu setzen.
Der Fokus liegt stark auf Community und Empowerment – ein lebendiges und inklusives Umfeld steht im Mittelpunkt. Ihre Events sind voller Energie, ihre Musik unbestreitbar stark, und ihre sorgfältig kuratierten Line-ups bringen Dancefloors mit unnachahmlichem Stil zum Leuchten.
ọ́kụ́ ist mehr als ein würdiger Gegner für Femme Bass Mafia.
