Another reggae highlight is coming to the Black Pearl. Reggae legend GANJAMAN from Berlin is coming to the Black Pearl. Together with DJ RAS QULAH, he will steer the Black Pearl into Caribbean waters and dock in Jamaica.

"Ganjaman is a German-speaking reggae and dancehall artist from Berlin. He lives in the south of Berlin in the district of Buckow (Gropiusstadt).
He grew up in a squat in Berlin-Schöneberg. He does not describe himself as a Rastafarian. In his texts, he combines revolutionary anti-imperialism with Rastafarianism, demanding that paradise on earth must be created in the here and now. He preaches love as the only means of liberating humanity from oppressive structures that are maintained by people who have succumbed to their own greed.
His declared enemies are the USA, the Vatican and the German government, which he sees as examples of "Babylon".
Ganjaman himself distances himself from the widespread homophobia and downright incitement of homosexual people in his style of music (especially in modern dancehall reggae)."
