BREMEN VIER LICHTERMEER

Here follows the information for 08. & 10.11.2024

On Friday, November 8, we will light up Bremen's city center again.

The stage program starts at 5:30 pm on Bremen's market square.

Against the backdrop of the illuminated city center, all families with young and old children are cordially invited to take part in the Bremen Vier Lichtermeer on Friday, November 8th.

The meeting point is from 17:00 on Bremen's market square.

Bremen Vier presenter Malte Janssen, Universum Bremen with a light experiment and, of course, our mascot animals the "Zebra Animal" from the children's program Zebra Vier and "Jolinchen" from AOK Bremen/Bremerhaven will be there. Together with a guest band, we will sing the most beautiful lantern songs with you and wave the lanterns.

In return for a voluntary donation for the "A Light for a Child" campaign, we will hand out yellow zebra lanterns and children's warning vests before the lantern run.

The lantern parade starts punctually at 18:00!

All lantern runners then parade through the city center, along the Schlachte and Weser and back to the market square, accompanied by the marching bands DA CAPO from Bremen and Adelheide from Delmenhorst as well as the giant illuminated flowers by stilt artist Janine Jaeggi.

On Sunday, November 10, we will light up the Havenwelten together with you.

The stage program starts at 5:30 pm on the forecourt Am Längengrad of the Mein Outlet & Shopping Center.

Against the backdrop of the illuminated Havenwelten, all families with children of all ages are cordially invited to take part in the Bremen Vier Lichtermeer on Sunday, November 10.

The meeting point is the forecourt Am Längengrad of the Mein Outlet & Shopping Center from 17:00.

Bremen Vier presenter Matze Hoppe, Universum Bremen with the knowledge kiosk and, of course, our mascot animals the "Zebra Animal" from the children's program Zebra Vier and "Jolinchen" from AOK Bremen/Bremerhaven will be there. All lantern runners will then parade along the ATLANTIC Hotel, towards the Zoo am Meer, to the lighthouse on Willy-Brandt-Platz and back again via the dyke, accompanied by the DA CAPO marching band and the bright samba band Confusao by Stelzenart Janine Jaeggi.
