For three days, you can sample over 250 beer specialties at the Ansgarikirchhof in Bremen's city center. You can taste exotic beers from Namibia and Hawaii or local beers from Bremen. The 250 beers on offer also include the "beer festival beer". This year it is an India Pale Lager, a hoppy beer. It is characterized by its relatively high alcohol content of 6.1% and its fruity aromas.
A lot has happened on the craft beer market in recent years and there are more and more experimental breweries at home and abroad. From the "Garden of Eden" from Denmark to the "Himmelsforte" from Brandenburg and the "Dark Power", everything is represented at the beer festival. Over 20 breweries and retailers will be on site with their own stands.
A festival for everyone
Despite the exquisite selection, not only beer connoisseurs are invited to join in the celebrations. For those who didn't like beer before, there will be a "Lemon Milkshake IPA" served from the slush ice machine. There will also be gluten-free and alcohol-free beers to try.
