As part of the celebrations for its 70th anniversary, the Italian Cultural Institute Cologne invites you to a concert by the band Brew4et, which will be performed in our theater hall on November 28 at 7 pm.
Brew4et offers music for quiet listening, in which the melodic themes of the compositions alternate with moments of improvisation and interplay between the four musicians, ranging from quiet sound dynamics to lively, rousing sections. At the Italian Cultural Institute Cologne, Brew4et will play a program with tracks from their first album 'Drops' (2022), mixed with compositions from the new album, which will be released in spring 2025.
Brew 4et was formed in Naples in 2016. With a great passion for jazz music in particular, Giuseppe Giroffi on saxophones, Gianluca Manfredonia on vibraphone, Luca Varavallo on double bass and Alex Perrone on drums continue to focus on sound creations that blend tradition and contemporary trends with ease and draw on a musical culture that is particularly reminiscent of contemporary Scandinavian jazz. In 2022, the first album "Drops" was released on the well-known Norwegian label Losen Records. In 2024, the quartet recorded a second album, which will be released soon.
