It's here! The new album we've all been waiting for so eagerly! Friedhof der Moral comes from none other than Brezel Göring!

Brezel Göring - the grand dame of Berlin chanson and chanson kaputt, the sparkling punk princess of Kreuzberg, who bounces off every musical expectation like a pinball with glamor and anarchistic humor - switches playfully and masterfully between countless genres and whizzes unchecked from one attraction to the next!

Where question marks adorned the spine of the previous album Psychoanalysis Volume 2, exclamation marks should actually do the trick here, because the record has a kick, is rousing, fast-paced, puts you in a good mood, is very playful and extremely multi-faceted. Above all, it is extreme. Thematically, lyrically and musically. There are references to classical music, Japanese blues, disco music, punk, hip hop and, of course, French chansons. Friedhof der Moral is a musical firework display, eloquent, full of short cinematic scenes and makes our synapses glow.

We enthusiastically embark on a fast-paced journey into Brezel Göring's musical universe - it is an unbridled, wild and boundless journey. Right at the beginning we fly through space, cross the entire planetary system, later travel via Italy, France and Greece directly to Chernobyl, stop off at a hotel by the hour, but prefer to stay in Berlin, stagger along (Kreuzberg's) Oranienstraße and tremble on the street corner for spring, only to circle like a UFO over this shitty city and finally the journey continues darkly and melancholically into the afterlife ... It is a longing, gentle note with which the record ends and a farewell song to Françoise Cactus resounds with lovely melodies and tender vocals.

Loneliness, darkness, longing and death are recurring motifs in these 13 tracks and there is once again a lot to report from the world of psychoanalysis: it's about obsessions, drugs, interpersonal problems, break-ups, the past and hopelessness. The texts are profound and abysmal, yet reliably entertaining, poetic, inventive, original and incredibly funny. We trot out fire extinguishers, fast food, pinball machines, fantastic vehicles, are sexually charged, never forgive and ultimately bury our morals.

Brezel Göring remains true to himself and yet reinvents himself. And he has brought fellow travelers on board for Friedhof der Moral. His band Psychoanalyse is an illustrious troupe of musicians and singers from Kreuzberg, Taiwan, France, Chile and the Sorbs, who enrich the record with their unusual sounds and voices.
