Bring Your Own Beats 2025

Hip hop jam is your thing? Is rap your language? Then show what you've got and take part in the Hip Hop Jam and Rap Contest at the FZW. Juicy Beats and the Dortmund Youth Welfare Office invite up-and-coming hip-hop talents to show off their skills on the FZW stage on June 12.

Apply now by email to jkc@dortmund.de with your best raps/songs and, with a bit of luck, be there at the FZW on June 12.

Be there:
Each participant will then have five minutes to present their best song or freestyle at the FZW. An expert jury will decide on the best act.

Win:
The first prize is a performance at the Juicy Beats Festival on the "Bring Your Own Beats" stage!
To ensure that the audience doesn't go away empty-handed, two tickets for the Juicy Beats Festival will be lotteried among all spectators.
The competition is organized by the Youth Welfare Office of the City of Dortmund, Children and Youth Promotion, Youth Culture Department and UPop e.V. in cooperation with the "Bring Your Own Beats" initiative.
