Thank goodness jazz can do anything! It can be squeaky and shrill, make you cry and melt away. It can mix with all musical trends, but it doesn't have to - it's jazz. It should be unique and always new, improvisational and inspiring, just like the two ladies.
Uschi Brüning and Jacqueline Boulanger present their songs in a soulful, bluesy and swinging style, with a selection ranging from Sunny Burke's smoky "Black Coffee" to Carol King's soul classic "Natural Woman".
Two singers with powerful voices who are only too happy to laugh together have a friendly date - on stage.
