Bruno Jonas no longer knows whether he is still mentally well adjusted. He sees himself as a deviant and suffers as a result. "Do I still have the prescribed fears?" he asks himself. Unfortunately, his fear of the end of the world is still in the green zone. The thought of an energy blackout with a dark doldrums lasting several years, on the other hand, strangely scares him. He also feels increasingly uneasy when a woke spy mentality is on the rise in the "transforming society", which is supposed to help save democracy. Believing in Easter bunnies and the resurrection certainly seems more plausible to him than a Good Border Controls, Skilled Immigration and Red Tape Reduction Act. And despite the global crisis, Jonas has no intention of panicking. Instead, the feeling of rebelling against new forms of freedom of expression is all the more frequent: Against the "eloquent silence", against the "silent opinion", against the "better shut up".

Bruno Jonas can do cabaret like hardly anyone else. For 40 years now, the Passau native and Munich resident by choice has developed an impressive range of his art in countless performances. His brilliant appearances in Dieter Hildebrandt's "Scheibenwischer" and as the penitential preacher Barnabas on the Nockherberg, where he read the riot act to politicians, are unforgettable.

In his roles, he analyzes the political landscape with a keen eye and sharp words. And switches effortlessly between hilarious and poetically melancholy.
