In the middle of a turning point, Bruno Jonas is offered a role. He is to play the editor-in-chief of a highly respected leading media outlet in a film satire entitled "Herzlos". This journalist is an unscrupulous character without morals or decency, who only has his own advantage in mind, a doer who will use any means to get attention for himself and his medium. Untruths, half-truths, omissions and fake news are the basis of his success. After reading the script, Jonas comes on stage outraged and begins his new program with the exclamation: "I can't play this lousy asshole! This has nothing to do with satire".

In "Shut up!", the well-known cabaret artist once again doesn't mince his words. Bruno Jonas - a master of his trade and known for his sharp tongue. He takes aim at the absurdities of our time and combines astute observations with unmistakable humor. With his mixture of irony, profundity and a pinch of self-irony, he manages to address difficult topics in an entertaining way - a must for all lovers of intelligent cabaret.
