Bubs. x Groove Gardeners

In the organizer's words:

With their beginnings in the acapella scene, Bubs. make vocal pop music. With up to five-part vocals, they mainly cover songs by FLINTA artists, whose lyrics deal with empowerment, but also discrimination and oppression. They also play their own songs, in which they integrate various instruments. Bubs. want to set an example with their music. Together, they want to take a stand for equal rights/position, a deeper awareness of diversity in themselves and in society and against discrimination of all kinds.

A small garden has been created in Cologne: Head-nodding grooves and colorful melodies grow here. Crossed with soul harmonies, hip-hop beats and personal lyrics, the result is a rich mixture that is just waiting to be harvested. Pia Niepmann (g,v), Toni Schelenz (p,v), Sebastian Lohmar (b) and Matthias Schons (dr) founded the groove gardeners, always on the lookout for new sounds, ideas and impulses to plant in their music. A garden has been created in Cologne and we want it to continue to grow.
