Buchbares Angebot: Cyanotypie-Workshop

In the organizer's words:

3-hour workshop | HMKV at Dortmunder U, level 3 | for groups of up to 10 people

The photographic and video works of artist Niklas Goldbach deal with dys- and utopian paradise worlds and architectures. In the exhibition, they are presented in the midst of vacation bungalows and palm trees.

What constitutes a paradise? Does paradise even exist? How do you imagine your personal paradise or dream vacation spot? Can we create paradises for ourselves? The exhibition raises these and other questions, which we will explore together.

We will then let our impressions flow into imaginative paradise collages, which we will create ourselves and then put on paper using the cyanotype process.

Cyanotype (also known as blue printing or sun printing) is the oldest photographic printing process. In the workshop, you will learn about the technique and can implement it yourself step by step (including exposing and washing out the paper yourself).
