"BINGO!" Who doesn't love it? The popular parlor game
Excitement, fun, prizes - and all for a good cause. The Kultur: Haus Dacheröden offers a "Bingo!" once a month. The aim is not only to provide the best entertainment for the audience but also to raise awareness for the book shelter in the house. The basic principle of the lottery will be retained. However, the stakes and the prizes are special: books.
And this is how it works: If you want to play, bring a book with you to the Bürgersaal in Dacheröden. There are lottery tickets for this. If you want to up the stakes and enter with several bingo tickets, you can of course bring several books with you.
As always, the consecutively numbered balls are drawn from the lottery drum until a guest has ticked the first five of the 75 numbers in a horizontal or vertical row on their ticket. The first prize, a special treasure from the book asylum, is then awarded for the call "Bingo".
After that, the aim is to fill in a diagonal on the game slip. At the end of the round, the fastest player to match all the correct numbers on their ticket wins. A total of three rounds are planned per evening.
The chairman of the Autumn Reading Association, Dirk Löhr, and his guest will provide additional entertainment during the game, not only drawing ball after ball from the lottery drum, but also engaging in spontaneous discussions about God and the world.
The books brought along for the game are donated to the book shelter. Books have been saved from the paper garbage can here since 2018. The basic principle of "books looking for a new home" then applies to them. For a small fee, which is intended to keep the whole enterprise going, interested parties can help themselves to books from the shelves in the Bürgersaal and acquire one or two treasures for their library.
Of course, the bar in the Kultur: Haus Dacheröden will also be open on the evenings.
Spontaneous guests are also very welcome!
