BOOK PRESENTATION
The event will be held in Spanish with German translation.

The writer Sara Mesa (Madrid, 1976) presents her latest novel translated into German, The Family (Verlag Klaus Wagenbach), an unsparing x-ray of a family, its latent wounds, fragility, contradictions and weaknesses.

Sara Mesa is an award-winning Spanish author of short stories and novels. She has published Cuatro por cuatro, finalist for the Herralde Prize, Cicatriz, winner of the El Ojo Crítico de Narrativa prize, Un incendio invisible, Cara de pan, the short story collection Mala letra and the short story Silencio administrativo. Her previous novel, Un amor, was highly praised by Spanish critics, made into a film and translated into several languages.

The event will be moderated by literary critic Dr. Hernán D. Caro (Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung and Humboldt-Magazin).

The Schweitzer Fachinformationen bookshop will provide a book table.
