No bookshop or newsstand can currently do without titles prophesying the end of democracy or at least asking whether Western democracies are still equipped to deal with the current crises. As correct as such fault analyses are, the two authors Caroline Weimann and Philip Husemann have also asked themselves: How can we change things and help democracy? And: Do democracies need to dare to have more vision again?

With this in mind, Caroline Weimann founded the organization JoinPolitics back in 2019 to promote political talent independent of political parties - which undoubtedly exist! JoinPolitics finds these young people and then supports them ideally and financially to get started in politics. Caroline Weimann and Philip Husemann have recorded the positive experiences from this work with young political talents and their personal visions for the future of democracy in a book. In GESELLSCHAFTSRAUM, they present "The Politics of Tomorrow" and answer the following questions, among others: Why are political talent forges so important for the renewal of politics? What else - in their opinion - should change in our system? And what can we all implement immediately to strengthen our liberal democracy?
