Psychotherapist Philipp Ruland grew up in an environment of violence. An experience that traumatized him and led to panic attacks and fear of death. It was only after therapy that Ruland was able to process his past piece by piece and come to terms with his experiences. He took the path of a trauma therapist in order to help others. He describes this path in his autobiography "Guilt, shame and all that shit". From alcoholic bouncer to therapist, he has managed to start a new life. With this path, he wants to inspire his readers to face up to the traumas of childhood and youth and turn over a new leaf.
