Bühne für Menschenrechte – Keine Mehr

In cooperation with the Frauenennotruf on Women's Struggle Day on March 8.

In the play "Keine Mehr - Ein dokumentarisches Theaterstück über Solidarität" by Bühne für Menschenrechte, three women talk about violence and experiences that are still not heard despite decades of struggle by those affected. And about the never-ending, empowering struggle.

It is a play that was developed together with affected women and unites their appeals. There are three actresses on stage, to whom the women lend their voices. Music actively accompanies the play. It becomes clear that while more people are developing an awareness of domestic violence, society is seemingly blind to other forms of violence against women: cultural and institutional violence against women are rarely discussed in public. Multiple discrimination on the basis of racism, religion, classism, ableism and the resulting violence against women are still virtually unaddressed both in politics and in society.

The event is multilingual in German, English and Turkish with German, English and Turkish subtitles. The performance of the play will be followed by an audience discussion with experts and activists.

About the Stage for Human Rights

The Stage for Human Rights has been telling the stories of people whose human rights have been violated through documentary theater since 2008. They tell these stories to raise awareness of various forms of discrimination in our society.
