The early Bundestag elections will take place on February 23 after the coalition with the traffic light system broke up over funding issues. The election campaign will be dominated by the state of Germany as a business location, security issues and migration. There is no shortage of promises about how most people could be better off financially. Are these serious? Especially as social and ecological issues or education policy only play a subordinate role.
