Bürgerwerkstatt zum Masteplan Stadtgrün - Chorweiler

From May 17, 2025, the opinions of citizens in the Chorweiler district will be sought, as this is when the citizens' workshop on the Urban Green Master Plan will start.

The Urban Green Master Plan serves to safeguard and further develop the existing green belts and green corridors as well as to complete Cologne's green infrastructure. The aim is to improve the urban climate and increase the quality of the green spaces for recreation and relaxation.

From March 10, 2025, citizens in Chorweiler were able to submit their ideas for certain categories online. In addition, a workshop event will now take place on 17 May 2025 at the Chorweiler community center on Pariser Platz.

The aim of the participation is to create an action plan for each district. The combined plans will ultimately be used to develop an overall plan for the city of Cologne. Two city districts will be worked on each year and the program should be completed by 2027.
