Burgweintinger Nepal-Lauf

The Burgweintinger Nepallauf takes place every two years in Regensburg. The starting signal for the 12th edition will be given on April 6, 2025. Half of the proceeds from the charity run will go to Burgweintinger Sportjugend and half to Nepalhilfe Beilngries e. V.. Nepalhilfe has been building and maintaining various social facilities in Nepal for 33 years, such as schools, hospital wards, children's homes and much more. The Burgweinting sports club has already been able to donate over 70,000 euros to the organization since the Nepal Run began. So everyone who takes part in the Burgweinting Nepal Run is directly supporting projects in Nepal.

The last Burgweinting Nepal Run in 2023 attracted 1567 running enthusiasts. Anyone interested can find out more and register online at www.Nepal-Lauf.de. SV Burgweinting is also offering an attractive running shirt again this time. Registration is only possible online until March 27, 2025 (with shirt order as early as February 26!) and on site on the day of the event. The 12th Burgweintinger Nepallauf will once again offer a middle distance of 5 km and a long distance of approx. 10 km. Professional runners can test themselves in the half marathon at the start of the season. There will also be a Nordic walking route again. For children who love running, there is the Bambini run (1 km) and the 2.5 km run. There is also a medal at the finish for both of these children's runs.

The start and finish is in the area of the Burgweinting elementary school on Kirchfeldallee/Garbenstraße. Here, presenter Armin Wolf will get the runners "up to speed". The clubs with the most participants will be honored. The Burgweinting clubs will once again be involved in the event, thereby supporting a good cause.
