Creative workshop with performance for Potsdam trainees
Creaking, rattling, croaking, howling - the acoustic map of horror holds cobweb-fine sounds and foggy beats. The members of the Sonar Quartet are professionals at producing these sounds with their string instruments. But the real directors are the workshop participants! Using the digital composition tool "Luna Simulator" and traditional composition techniques, they will create a sound installation for string quartet, self-made instruments and soloists under the direction of composer Hauke Berheide. They also draw inspiration from the sounds of Tchaikovsky's String Serenade in C major op. 48. The result will be presented on 26.01.2025 at 4 pm in the concert "GETRENNT UND ZUSAMMEN" with the Brandenburger Sinfoniker.
The workshop promotes the creativity and personal development of trainees. No previous musical knowledge required.
