Stuttgart - The Stuttgarter Feierabendkollektiv e.V. cordially invites you to another atmospheric evening of its popular "Garden Concert" series. On Sunday, Oct 12, 2025, the versatile Ludwigsburg band Café 612 will take the audience into their very own musical world in the green ambience of Villa Jo in Stuttgart-Obertürkheim from 20:00 (admission from 19:00).

Café 612 captures the small and big emotions of life in their authentic German-language chansons in a touching way. The Hamburg band Tocotronic once claimed: "You can only write bad songs about longing, you tend to exaggerate a lot". But one tends to doubt this statement when listening to the songs of Café 612.

The band around the creative minds Matthias Rother and Timo Schaffert succeeds in capturing the searching and finding, the uncertainties of life and the quiet hope for what may come so honestly and directly that it hurts and gives hope at the same time.

The result is a fascinating balancing act between the warmth of traditional folk songs and a surprising, modern directness.

Formed from the duo "Alcoholic Sunrise" in 2003, Café 612 has developed into a band with a broad sound spectrum with the addition of Bruno Danzeglocke, Andreas Kusche and Maren Peters. Their music has already been acclaimed by renowned media for its intimacy, intelligent folk-pop and ability to transform everyday observations into poetic songs. Quotes such as "Café 612 could become a true affair of the heart" (Intro Magazin) and "beautiful, guitar-driven, intelligent (folk) music" (Alternativmusik.de) underline the quality of their music.

The garden concert promises a relaxed summer evening with music that invites you to listen and feel. Between melancholic guitar sounds, subtle rhythms and the warm timbre of the voices, an intimate atmosphere is created, which is perfectly complemented by cool drinks, tasty snacks and a cozy campfire. If the weather is unstable, the concert will take place in the charming interior of Villa Jo.

In case of bad weather, the concert will take place inside Villa Jo.
