With the film music composer and her extraordinary plant music the world is transformed into a fascinating sound laboratory. Sounds are not created by conventional instruments, but directly by nature - more precisely, by the biological processes of living plants.

With the help of biodata sonification, the plant's fine electrical impulses, which are generated during processes such as photosynthesis, touch or water absorption, are recorded via electrodes on the leaves. These signals are converted into MIDI data and translated into sound using synthesizers, samplers and other electronic instruments. Thus plant activity and electronic music merge to create a unique, lively world of sound.
