Camona – Soul/Jazz/R’n’B

In the organizer's words:

Camona combines elements of soul, jazz and R'n'B. Stories unfold in warm melodies over muted guitar and rhythmic bass and drum grooves. Her music is inspired by expressive artists such as Donny Hathaway, Amy Winehouse and Marvin Gaye. Camona is accompanied by a well-rehearsed band that shapes her sound: Flo Hasenfuss (guitar), Paula Rösner (keys), Linus Bahr (drums) and Thomas C. Tito (bass). The ensemble is complemented by a powerful brass section, which provides additional depth with its warm brass sections: Emma Jacob (alto saxophone), Baraq Sushil (tenor saxophone), Kolja Keller (trumpet) and Alma Trunk (trombone).
