We are also showing the March winner film in advance.

The films of the Festival de Cannes 2024 operate between reality and phantasm: a small wild animal in winter is hungry, the reflection of a relationship becomes dreamy, a girl in the pampas longs for the city, a train journey challenges sincere behavior, and a magical pregnancy turns into a thriller.

There is an online vote at the end. We also vote for Heidelberg's favorite short film of the month using the "Applause-O-Meter". We will show the monthly winner as the opening film at Shorts Attack! the following month.

Bonus film for the "International Menstrual Hygiene Day"

In cooperation with the Office for Equal Opportunities of the City of Heidelberg, we are showing the appropriate bonus film "Oh Sh*t". The short film follows 27-year-old Maggie on a date in her crush's apartment. When she suddenly gets her period, she rushes to the bathroom - where she is confronted by a monster that has been living in her head for far too long.

Sandra Arendarczyk (Women's and Equal Opportunities Officer of the City of Heidelberg) will speak a few words on the occasion of this day before we watch the movie together.
