With Bizet's "Carmen", the Opernloft brings an absolute highlight of opera literature to the stage on the Elbe. In this immersive production, you will meet Carmen at work in a karaoke bar, where she mixes her signature cocktail and sings French chansons. She flirts with anyone she likes.

One person she particularly likes is José. He is a little different from the others - polite and, above all, madly in love with Carmen. But his possessiveness quickly goes too far and threatens Carmen and her life.

Enjoy Carmen's freshly mixed cocktails - if you're lucky, even right at the bar! Be there when José and Carmen fall in love - and when this love tragically fails.
