Carmen López - flamenco artist and encourager - and Ricardo Volkert - multiple winner of international song competitions, head of several ensembles around the Spanish guitar - immerse their audience in the world of Andalusia, Spain and Latin America. Coming from flamenco, their ballads, canciones and romances, often sung in two voices, incorporate a wide variety of musical styles. In the sung and narrated stories about love and betrayal, passion and death, bandits, saints and sinners, they open up a range of emotions from exuberant joie de vivre to melancholy heartache.
