Who was Hanna? A life between bourgeoisie and bohemia: with champagne and Pushkin in bed on Sunday mornings, visits after school to the institute library where her mother works and flirts with shy students, poker under the Christmas tree, adventurous trips in the duck - until Hanna decides to leave the family and start her life all over again on her own.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Caroline Peters, born in 1971, is one of the most important German actresses. After studying acting at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Saarbücken, she was a member of the ensemble at the most important theaters,
including the Berlin Schaubühne and the Vienna Burgtheater. Caroline Peters has appeared in numerous film and television productions, such as the ARD series "Mord mit Aussicht" and Sönke Wortmann's "Der Vorname", and has received numerous awards, including the Adolf Grimme Prize, the Bavarian Television Prize, the German Acting Prize and the Nestroy Theater Prize. In 2016 and 2018, she was voted Actress of the Year by the magazine "Theater heute". "Ein anderes Leben" is her first novel.
