Caroline Wahl, born in Mainz in 1995, grew up near Heidelberg. Her debut novel 22 Bahnen was published in 2023, for which she was awarded the Ulla Hahn Author Prize and the Grimmelshausen Prize, among others. In addition, 22 Bahnen became the favorite book of the Independent 2023. Her second novel Windstärke 17 also became an event and was at the top of the bestseller lists for months.
